Tidying Up….Kondostyle

I’ve read the translated into Dutch version of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. She’s a bit cuckoo, but her writings have worked rather contagiously for me. It’s hardly doable with a seven-week-old who wants to be carried around all the time AND an almost fourteen-month-old….but hey, let’s do this!

You can also listen to the English version here.

However, I am cheating or not don’t stick to her plan. I just can’t go through all my clothes first…since I haven’t lost all the pregger weight yet. So that’s a good excuse, isn’t it? 😉 I really want to try on everything I own first, before I start to toss things out.

KonMarie is all the rage….have you started tidying your home yet?

Latest Addiction: RenewableWealth.com

After having read the MMM blog and jlcollinsnh from their first blog post onwards I was hooked on reading about all things FI on the internet. I now follow a couple of nice blogs. I should make a blog roll.

Anyways, my latest addiction is reading RenewableWealth.com from start to finish. It’s a good read! This guy used to “have it all” with a high paid lawyer job and gave up on all that madness in order to become happy and live a real life. Sounds good, doesn’t it?!

I just love hanging on the sofa with our tablet (not very Mustachian, I admit) and reading this blog away.

Just Another Lazy Sunday

Although the weather sucks here in The Netherlands we are thoroughly enjoying our Sunday so far. Yesterday I read two personal finance books and started number three. I’ll probably finish number three today. I’ve been doing a couple of chores around the house here and there. Oh, and yesterday I made another extra mortgage payment! Unfortunately, Uncle Sam hasn’t transferred the €8000 just yet which will make a huge impact on paying off our mortgage. We now own almost 26% of our home.

Well, I’m off now…reading and contemplating on what to do with the rest of this wonderful day.

A Long Weekend Away…

And I didn’t blog, sorry!

What have I been up to?

I started reading I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi. Very much for the American audience, but still very useful for a Dutchy like myself.

I’ll continue reading now…

What’s your favourite PF book? I can’t really decide…

Love,
