We <3 Dividend!

Yay, dividend was paid out today! I really love the fact that our Vanguard FTSE All World stocks pay out a quarterly dividend. You can watch this compound interest theory doing it’s thing, yeah baby!

Next month it’s “my month” to invest the bigger monthly sum the hubby and myself agreed upon.

I hope your Christmas was merry and bright and I wish you a wonderful and prosperous new year.

Lots of love,

Mrs EconoWiser

P.s. I am looking forward to my maternity leave early February. Hopefully I’ll find the energy to blog a lot more…and clear out the house….and set up this new business thingy I have been thinking about…oh….right….and having this second (and final!!!) baby! 😉

Many happy returns, and hurray for dividends! Did you notice the dividend paid out was fractionally lower than originally announced? Maybe this has to do with the euro/dollar exchange rate? I’m not sure but I’m very curious what causes this.

Yeah, I noticed that a quarter ago as well. I phoned BinckBank and they said it probably (but they weren’t sure!!!???) had something to doe with the exchange rate….grmbl.

Thanks!

Thank you thank you. I’m still in the proces of opening the account, because I don’t live in the Nederlands and don’t have a social security number there, I had to send my request by post (like the ones with stamps) sooo… that’s a first. For my funds, I’m going have to agree with the husband, 80% world and 20 emerging. It’s aggressive but I’m not to old (I think) and will be saving 5% cash aside for when the stocks are in discount. What do you think?
