I’ve been extremely busy with the closing down sale of the side business. Everything is ready and tomorrow we’ll send our customers a newsletter about the extreme sale prices.
Yep, I’m trying to tempt people to buy this shit. This is exactly why I’m going to quit the side business. Since I am not a person to buy useless shit anymore myself I couldn’t cope with selling people shit. I’d rather help them get their finances in order.
Hopefully the holiday season will help getting most of our stock sold. This is also why I waited with the sale…people are more inclined now to buy other people presents.

Vanochtend stonden al die mensen niet op met het idee die meuk te kopen…en nu laden ze het bij bosjes in hun virtuele mandje en hevelen maar al te gretig euro’s over naar mij. Fijn, voor mij…maar met mijn veranderde kijk op consumptie echt een beetje een rare gewaarwording. De gretigheid…

Have you considered the option of letting another individual take over from you, and continue to run your side business?
Given that there’s demand for your products, your business is clearly providing utility to some people out there. It would be a shame to deprive them of that satisfaction! Stopping the business won’t stop them buying the products – they will find them elsewhere.
Additionally, it would give another individual the opportunity to learn what you have about running a small business, as well as giving them a second income.
You would still solve your problem, and no longer be involved in providing shit to people 🙂
