Stock Market History: A Crash Course For Investors In Eight Parts

The good people of sensible investing TV have launched an eight part series (each part lasts a couple of minutes) called a Stock Market History: A Crash Cours For Investors. You can watch the first part by clicking here and work your way through all eight parts.

The company is very much in favour of index funds. However, so am I. The website is sponsored and operated by a UK-based wealth management company, but they claim this website is not a showcase for their company. It’s to promote the philosophy of passive investing in the UK. It’s true that they don’t bombard you with advertisements for their own company. Me like!

This is what you can expect:

  1. Introduction
  2. Be realistic
  3. Stay calm
  4. Forget timing
  5. Keep it simple
  6. Diversify
  7. Do nothing
  8. Recap

You’ll learn about bull and bear markets, bubbles and the smartest strategy to apply. It’s index investing in a nutshell, really.

Enjoy!

Love,

Mrs EconoWiser
