Cheapskate Winter Sport

We booked our winter sport holiday. My husband is really into snowboarding. This will be my second  holiday in the snow and I am going to stick with skiing. Our first winter sport was extremely expensive. We stayed in an all-inclusive hotel with friends. It was wonderful, but very costly. This year (well, actually next year…we’re going during the second week of January 2013) we I decided we’d handle things differently. It’s just the two of us this time, so we can do whatever we want.

We rented a studio apartment in Austria for only €450 for 7 nights. There’s a kitchen in the studio apartment as well which we will definitely be using. Think pasta and pizza! Breakfasts and dinners at cost price. Lunch we’ll obviously have somewhere on the mountains every day since it would be ridiculous to go back to your apartment just to save money. We would lose too much time skiing and snowboarding. So this makes sense right?

The cheapest way to go was to not book a holiday like this at all. But let’s face it…these kind of things is what makes life fun, right?

Love,
